Rip It Good: Wearing Hot or Not #2, Distressed Jeans

If you have been following my new weekly Hot or Not? Fashion Polls, you will have seen in #2 I posted a picture of distressed/ripped jeans.  It was so interesting to see that the poll results were pretty equally divided between those who would not wear them and those who would or just might try them!  (I am loving everyone's comments & feedback on these polls by the way!)

Today I wore my American Eagle distressed crops that were actually a pair of bootcut jeans at one time that I chopped the ends off of and rolled them up to make them into crops!  This pair is actually a few years old, hence the super-large knee hole in one of the legs, but I just love the light color and so I couldn't throw them out just yet.  I have only owned one other pair of distressed jeans, and although I think the look can be fun and casual, I do usually stick to my un-ripped jeans on a day to day basis. :)

I decided to style the jeans with this Free People top I purchased at Nordstrom Rack a couple weeks ago and I am loving the large cut of this shirt, how soft it is, and even that it gives off that "muscleT" vibe (and I typically do not care for muscle T's! ;)  You are probably getting sick of the turquoise jewelry at this point, and I promise to give it a rest soon, but here I have mixed my turquoise/gold/silver jewelry to contrast with the peachy top.  What can I say, when I have stuff I like, I wear it! :)  (Welcome to my practical side!) ;)

Outfit Details

Shoes: Nine West.  Similar style from Forever21
Bracelets & Necklace: Target, Nordstrom Rack
Earrings: Target (purchased this spring in store) but similar style here with gold/teal at Forever21
