New Weekly Fashion Poll: Hot OR Not? Episode 1

So I will be the first to admit that my style is ever-evolving, and I am constantly trying to learn new ways to put together "looks".  I get a lot of compliments on my style, and yet I seriously do not feel as someone who should be looked upon as stylish!  In a nutshell it has only been the past 5 years now that I have forced myself to purchase clothing that I put thought into, and I have found it is a lot of fun mixing the old and the new, the cheap and the splurged, into one ginormous mash-up that becomes what I wear!  So, since I am not claiming to be a fashion expert and I would venture to say that there are others out there like me, I wanted to set up a weekly poll/post so you can help decide what is Hot OR Not!?

My plan is to post a photo of a clothing or accessory item I have picked up and kept in my closet for months not wearing (because I don't know HOW the heck to wear it or if I SHOULD even wear it) and have you help me decide #1 if it is HOT or NOT just by clicking the option in the poll.  If you think it is "hot", then I would love your input of what pieces you would pull together with the clothing piece/accessory to make it work!  I may also post stock photos of pieces I find on the web, or on Pinterest that I am uncertain about but I will also take my own photos of items I have already purchased.  I am going to avoid posting full body poses of people (or myself) wearing the items because I want to keep the focus on the fashion piece rather than the body shape wearing it.  Sometimes I may post items I would have no intention of wearing (because I feel it goes outside of my style comfort zone) but I think this will be great because then maybe I could see if you think it is hot  and if so how you would style it and then maybe I could pull it off as well!

Let me know what you think of this new fashion series!  I'd love your feedback along the way.  Oh, by the way the definition of hot in this series makes reference to "stylish", rather than reference to actual temperature... or you know, the other kind of "hot". ;)

Let's go ahead and start it out for this week with an inexpensive top I purchased from Marshall's several months ago and it has been sitting in my closet staring me down ever since.  I just can't seem to actually find what might make this top work!  Or should I just give up??!
